Software Engineer
Engineering Planning Analyst responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, analyzing data to support propulsion plant planning, and managing risks to ensure on‑time delivery of shipbuilding projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for propulsion plant planning using Microsoft Project and other scheduling tools.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to inform planning decisions and forecast project timelines.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to align planning activities with overall project objectives.
- Prepare and present status reports, trend analyses, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, and data analysis within a complex engineering environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to work in a security‑cleared environment.
