About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution, power backup, and mechanical equipment within the data center.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware failures, HVAC issues, and other infrastructure incidents to meet strict uptime targets.
- Monitor environmental controls, power usage, and system performance using data center management tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement upgrades, capacity expansions, and emergency response procedures.
- Document all work orders, maintenance activities, and incident reports in compliance with operational standards.
Requirements
- Technical background in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience in data center environments.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and HVAC systems under pressure.
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and safety protocols.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to maintain 99.999% availability.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with operations, facilities, and engineering groups.
