Software Engineer
Engineering Officer responsible for overseeing plant maintenance, regulatory compliance, and shift operations for a large industrial facility, managing a team of 21 engineers and handling budgeting, AMM planning, and critical non‑routine maintenance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 21 engineers, coordinating shift operations and skill development.
- Plan and execute Asset Management Maintenance (AMM) activities, ensuring adherence to the 16‑point AMM checklist.
- Manage plant maintenance across multiple sections, including DG/Ref operators, boiler air heaters, ETP/STP, and value yard facilities.
- Ensure annual regulatory compliance and licensing for boilers, HWRA, HSPCB, and hazardous/biomedical waste handling.
- Control budgeting for AMM and routine maintenance, and oversee annual maintenance‑inspection planning for boilers and air heaters.
- Execute critical non‑routine maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maintain operational safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in plant/industrial maintenance and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of boiler operations, air‑heater systems, and wastewater treatment processes.
- Excellent budgeting, planning, and project execution capabilities.
