Lead maintenance and process engineering teams at a 24/5 rPET facility, driving asset performance, operational stability, and continuous improvement through strong leadership and plant‑wide alignment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of maintenance, process engineering, and shift‑based trades to achieve plant reliability and performance targets.
- Develop and execute maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and reliability‑centered maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with plant management to align engineering initiatives with site priorities and long‑term asset performance goals.
- Implement continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Oversee asset management, ensuring accurate documentation, lifecycle planning, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance and process engineering within a manufacturing or recycling environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing cross‑functional teams in a 24/5 operation.
- Deep understanding of asset management, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Knowledge of rPET or similar material processing is a plus.
