About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, quality, and accountability.
- Own the end‑to‑end delivery of space‑grade hardware and software, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and regulatory standards.
- Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement to maintain velocity and deliver incremental value.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (product, operations, QA, and external partners) to define scope, resolve technical risks, and prioritize features.
- Implement process improvements, tooling, and best practices to enhance productivity, reliability, and safety.
Requirements
- 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace or related high‑reliability domain, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record managing complex space or remote sensing projects from concept through launch and operations.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, hardware‑software integration, and mission‑critical design.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills.
