About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a cross‑functional engineering team across London, Bath, or Edinburgh.
- Own the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with product strategy and business goals.
- Drive adoption of Agile practices, continuous integration, and automated testing to accelerate delivery.
- Architect and maintain scalable, secure cloud‑native services on AWS/GCP using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and product teams to embed best practices into every release.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering leadership in a fast‑paced fintech or SaaS environment.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in secure software development and cloud architecture.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
