Engineering Manager, Product Development - Frontier Resourcing

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team through all phases of the product development lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
• Define, track, and mitigate technical and programme risks, ensuring milestones are met on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate activities between hardware, firmware, and software groups, fostering collaboration and alignment with system architecture goals.
• Implement Agile processes and continuous improvement practices to enhance delivery speed and product quality.
• Provide technical direction and decision‑making support, reviewing designs, specifications, and test results.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing engineering teams in complex product development environments, preferably in positioning, navigation, or timing systems.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and embedded hardware/software development.
• Demonstrated ability to apply Agile methodologies and risk‑management frameworks to large‑scale programmes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of delivering technical solutions on time.
• Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science) and several years of hands‑on engineering experience.
