About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team focused on product and vendor data pipelines and services.
- Design, implement, and scale data infrastructure that supports accurate catalog information, pricing, and availability.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across all product data assets.
- Collaborate with product, merchandising, and analytics stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust data solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of data processes, tooling, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software development with a strong focus on data infrastructure.
- Proven track record managing and scaling engineering teams in a fast‑paced environment.
- Hands‑on expertise with SQL, Python, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Redshift, S3).
- Deep understanding of data governance, quality, and security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
