Engineering Manager
Lead a high‑performing platform engineering team to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure, focusing on automation, reliability, and continuous delivery using Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional platform engineering team, driving technical excellence and career growth.
- Architect and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations to define and enforce best practices for reliability, performance, and compliance.
- Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of platform services, from design and implementation to monitoring, incident response, and post‑mortem analysis.
- Champion automation and tooling improvements to accelerate delivery and reduce manual toil.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform or infrastructure engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, observability, and incident management practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
- Hands‑on experience with Go, Python, or similar scripting languages is a plus.
