Engineering Manager - Magna International, Inc

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on automotive product development.
• Define and execute technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and market timelines.
• Drive Agile processes, sprint planning, and continuous improvement to accelerate delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with product management, hardware, and software groups to integrate system architectures and resolve technical challenges.
• Oversee design reviews, risk assessments, and compliance with automotive industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in the automotive sector, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded and simulation development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and proven ability to lead high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
