As an Engineering Manager, Issue Workflow at Sentry, you will lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement solutions to improve issue workflow and optimize technical processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and implement solutions to improve issue workflow and optimize technical processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and project plans to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and prioritize technical debt and implement solutions to address it.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in a SaaS company.
- Strong technical expertise in Python, Node.js, and Machine Learning.
- Experience with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
