About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of 4 engineering team leads and 14 engineers, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality features for a multi‑carrier benefits platform.
- Partner with product, design, and operations to define technical roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and translate business goals into scalable solutions.
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud infrastructure on AWS to support rapid iteration and high availability.
- Champion Agile practices, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement across all engineering teams.
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and professional growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in SaaS or benefits technology.
- Strong background in JavaScript/Node.js development and AWS cloud services.
- Proven track record of building and scaling CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and a passion for continuous improvement.
