Engineering Manager
Lead a team of data engineers and AI/ML specialists to design, build, and scale data platforms that enable predictive analytics and intelligent automation using Python, Spark, SQL, and cloud services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the roadmap for the data foundation platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of data engineers, ML engineers, and analysts to deliver end‑to‑end AI/ML pipelines.
- Architect and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions using Spark, SQL, and cloud services (AWS).
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate business problems into data‑driven solutions and predictive models.
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring across the data stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering and machine‑learning pipeline development, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Spark, and SQL, with a solid understanding of distributed data processing.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering large‑scale data platforms.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, EMR, Redshift, SageMaker) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
