About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to define roadmap, prioritize features, and translate business goals into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Architect and oversee the development of a cloud‑native brokerage productivity platform, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across Python and Node.js services on AWS.
- Implement agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and metrics tracking, to deliver high‑quality releases on time.
- Drive code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines, while mentoring engineers on best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in backend development (Python/Node.js).
- 3+ years of engineering management or lead role, with proven ability to scale teams and processes.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3) and modern cloud architecture patterns.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies and experience leading cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for building products that solve real‑world problems for real estate professionals.
