About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the end‑to‑end delivery of electric transmission projects, from concept through construction and commissioning.
- Oversee permitting processes and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide technical guidance on civil design, right‑of‑way acquisition, and site development using tools such as AutoCAD and GIS.
- Mentor and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering career growth and high performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders—including utilities, contractors, and regulatory agencies—to align project schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- 5+ years of experience managing large‑scale power transmission or utility infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in project management, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with experience building and guiding technical teams.
- Proficiency with civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and familiarity with GIS tools.
