About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services using Python and Node.js.
- Architect and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of code quality, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
- Oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and infrastructure as code practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway).
- Deep understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL stores.
- Proven track record in designing and scaling microservice architectures.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and team leadership.
