About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for scalable backend and full‑stack services powering AI‑driven lending products.
- Mentor and grow a cross‑functional engineering team, fostering a culture of code quality, continuous delivery, and rapid iteration.
- Own end‑to‑end delivery: architecture, design, code reviews, performance tuning, and production operations.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into robust, secure, and compliant solutions.
- Drive adoption of cloud, containerization, and CI/CD best practices to ensure high availability and rapid deployment cycles.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in backend and full‑stack development.
- Proven leadership of engineering teams in a high‑growth, fintech or AI‑centric environment.
- Hands‑on expertise in Python, Node.js, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of machine learning workflows, data pipelines, and model deployment at scale.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of driving technical excellence in a regulated industry.
