About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable authentication services that secure user identities across web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
- Guide a cross‑functional engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, code quality, and rapid delivery.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations to define feature roadmaps, technical standards, and compliance requirements.
- Drive adoption of cloud‑native practices (AWS, CI/CD, IaC) to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion secure coding practices and threat modeling.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in authentication, identity, or security engineering, with a proven track record of delivering production‑grade services.
- Strong leadership skills, having managed and scaled engineering teams in a fast‑moving environment.
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS services (Lambda, Cognito, IAM, KMS) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Deep understanding of security protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, PKCE) and password‑less authentication trends.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
