Lead a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and integrate aircraft system architectures, driving model‑based engineering, verification, and validation using C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and DOORS in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the overall aircraft systems architecture, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead a cross‑functional team through concept, design, integration, and verification phases using Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices.
- Develop and maintain system models, simulations, and interface definitions in MATLAB/Simulink and C++.
- Manage requirements capture, traceability, and change control using IBM DOORS.
- Coordinate integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and drive corrective actions to meet schedule and quality targets.
- Promote Agile methodologies, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience in aircraft systems development.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and successful delivery of complex system architectures.
- Strong expertise in MBSE tools (e.g., DOORS, SysML), C++, and MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation.
- Hands‑on experience with integration testing, verification & validation, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FAA, EASA).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and Agile project management skills.
