About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team focused on abuse detection and prevention.
- Design, develop, and scale distributed systems that process billions of events per day.
- Drive the end‑to‑end product lifecycle from concept through launch and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product, data science, and security teams to define metrics, experiments, and feature roadmaps.
- Champion best practices in software engineering, testing, and DevOps to ensure reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and launching large‑scale software products.
- Strong background in distributed systems, algorithms, and performance engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with AI/ML techniques for anomaly detection and pattern recognition.
- Proven technical leadership in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of driving high‑impact initiatives.
