Engineering Manager
Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in shipbuilding projects, ensuring technical excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance while maintaining required security clearance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee design, development, and integration of complex shipbuilding systems, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, providing mentorship, performance management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with program managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to manage schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and security regulations, maintaining final clearance status throughout project lifecycle.
- Drive process optimization initiatives, leveraging data analytics to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive engineering leadership experience in a complex manufacturing or shipbuilding environment.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills.
- Valid security clearance and willingness to travel 25‑50% of the time.
