About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a cross‑functional engineering team to design, develop, and deploy risk‑management services that support global payments and treasury operations.
- Architect scalable, cloud‑native solutions on AWS, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for real‑time fraud detection and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with data scientists to implement machine‑learning models for transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, and credit risk assessment.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, including CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality standards.
- Partner with product, compliance, and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and roadmaps.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in a leadership role, preferably in fintech or payments.
- Proficiency in Python and Node.js, with hands‑on experience building microservices on AWS.
- Strong background in risk modeling, fraud detection, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Experience with machine‑learning pipelines, data engineering, and large‑scale data processing.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
