Lead the design and delivery of next‑generation intraday risk and scenario analysis tools for global equity trading, driving architecture, product strategy, and cross‑functional collaboration using Python, Java, C++, and cloud technologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high‑performance applications for intraday risk management and scenario analysis across the global equity trading platform.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of engineers, setting technical direction, code quality standards, and delivery cadence.
- Collaborate with product managers and traders to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, including CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud deployment on AWS.
- Mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in financial technology.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and C++ with experience building large‑scale, low‑latency systems.
- Hands‑on experience with SQL, AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda), and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of risk management concepts and exposure to equity trading systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to influence stakeholders, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time.
