About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and preparing engineering plans and designs for roadway projects.
- Create, modify, and review CAD drawings using MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Prepare reports and studies to evaluate engineering solutions and support decision‑making.
- Address comments and markups on roadway submittal sheets throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support various engineering tasks across design, analysis, and delivery phases for U.S. public‑works projects.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an accredited engineering program (civil, transportation, or related).
- Proficiency or coursework experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret engineering data and reports.
- Effective written and verbal communication for documenting designs and responding to feedback.
- Eagerness to learn high‑end design software and apply classroom knowledge to real‑world roadway projects.
