About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technology roadmap for next‑generation payment platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Lead multiple engineering squads through Agile processes, fostering a culture of continuous delivery and high‑performance collaboration.
- Architect cloud‑native solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) that integrate with core payment processors, merchant APIs, and banking networks.
- Partner with product, security, and compliance teams to embed risk mitigation and regulatory requirements into the development lifecycle.
- Mentor senior engineers and managers, driving talent development, technical excellence, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing large, distributed teams.
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture, microservices, and APIs for high‑volume payment processing.
- Proven track record delivering secure, compliant solutions in the financial services or payments industry.
- Strong command of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and the full Software Development Lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business goals into technical strategy.
