About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed site plans, grading, utility, and drainage designs for residential, commercial, and mixed‑use projects.
- Create and maintain 3D models and construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Perform GIS analysis and integrate survey data to support design decisions and regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate with civil engineers, planners, and contractors to ensure design intent aligns with project schedules and budgets.
- Prepare stormwater management calculations and permit packages in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in land development design, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Hands‑on experience with GIS tools and land surveying data integration.
- Knowledge of stormwater design standards and permitting processes.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple project deliverables simultaneously.
