Software Engineer
Engineering Co‑op supporting pharmaceutical product development and manufacturing, applying process engineering, GMP standards, and data analysis to improve non‑sterile liquid and semi‑solid production.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in scale‑up and optimization of non‑sterile liquid and semi‑solid manufacturing processes.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, collect and analyze data, and document results in compliance with GMP guidelines.
- Support equipment qualification, validation activities, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Prepare technical reports, batch records, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in cross‑functional meetings to troubleshoot process issues and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Chemical, Mechanical, or Pharmaceutical Engineering program (or related field) with at least 2 years of study completed.
- Knowledge of GMP principles and experience working in a regulated laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and strong quantitative skills.
- Hands‑on laboratory experience, including use of analytical instruments and basic equipment qualification.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented setting.
