Engineering Co-op Student - Contract Pharmaceuticals Limited

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in scale‑up and optimization of non‑sterile liquid and semi‑solid manufacturing processes.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, collect and analyze data, and document results in compliance with GMP guidelines.
• Support equipment qualification, validation activities, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Prepare technical reports, batch records, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to troubleshoot process issues and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Chemical, Mechanical, or Pharmaceutical Engineering program (or related field) with at least 2 years of study completed.
• Knowledge of GMP principles and experience working in a regulated laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) and strong quantitative skills.
• Hands‑on laboratory experience, including use of analytical instruments and basic equipment qualification.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented setting.
