Software Engineer
Hands‑on Engineering Cell Technician responsible for assembling, testing, and ensuring quality of solid oxide fuel cell systems in a fast‑paced, early‑stage manufacturing environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) modules and sub‑systems following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Conduct electrochemical performance tests, record data, and troubleshoot anomalies to meet target specifications.
- Perform in‑process inspections and final quality checks, documenting results in compliance with ISO and internal standards.
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment, sensors, and instrumentation used for voltage, current, and temperature measurements.
- Support scale‑up activities by identifying process improvements, reducing cycle time, and contributing to standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing, precision assembly, or electrochemical system testing.
- Familiarity with solid oxide fuel cell technology, high‑temperature materials, and related safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using test instrumentation (multimeters, data acquisition systems, thermal imagers) and interpreting performance data.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.
- Technical diploma or associate degree in engineering technology, materials science, or a related field.
