Engineering & Projects Manager - Tano T'enneh General Partnership

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute major and minor capital projects, including housing, subdivision development, and renovations.
• Lead grant‑writing initiatives and secure infrastructure funding from federal, state, and tribal sources.
• Develop and manage the off‑reserve housing portfolio, overseeing development, asset management, and lifecycle performance.
• Control project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost‑effective delivery within schedule.
• Provide technical engineering judgment, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory agencies to align project goals and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex construction or infrastructure projects, including budgeting and grant administration.
• Proven track record in securing and managing external funding and writing successful grant proposals.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities with a focus on engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills, capable of leading multidisciplinary teams.
