Software Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and synthesize data from multiple sources to support Trust and Safety initiatives.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify patterns, trends, and potential risks.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, Python/R scripts, and dashboards for real‑time reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define project scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Apply machine learning models to predict and mitigate safety threats, iterating on model performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative field.
- Minimum 1 year of data analysis experience, including trend identification and statistical summarization.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, R, or C++).
- Experience managing projects, defining scope, and delivering results on time.
- Preferred: Master’s degree, machine learning experience, and familiarity with large, disparate datasets.
