Software Engineer
Engineering Analyst focused on gear design and manufacturing, leveraging CAD, FEA, and data analytics to optimize gear performance and production processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze gear profiles using CAD tools to meet performance and durability specifications.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate stress, fatigue, and wear characteristics of gear components.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to refine gear cutting processes, tooling, and quality control measures.
- Collect, process, and interpret production data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and process guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Experience with gear design, analysis, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work with large datasets; proficiency in Python or MATLAB preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
