About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and optimization of sintered contact materials, ensuring compliance with performance and reliability specifications.
- Conduct materials characterization, failure analysis, and root‑cause investigations to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with production, quality, purchasing, and technical teams to implement process enhancements that increase throughput and reduce cost.
- Utilize CAD and simulation tools to design and validate component geometries and material formulations.
- Apply statistical process control and continuous improvement methodologies to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in sintered materials development or high‑performance contact manufacturing.
- Proficiency in materials characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, XRD, hardness testing) and failure analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical process control and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
