Software Engineer
Lead quality control for mechanical, piping, and welding projects in oil & gas and petrochemical sectors, ensuring compliance with NDT, hydrostatic testing, and fabrication standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct QA/QC inspections on mechanical, piping, and welding activities for oil & gas and petrochemical projects.
- Perform NDT procedures (RT, UT, PT, MT) and hydrostatic testing to verify integrity and compliance.
- Review fabrication, welding, and installation work, ensuring adherence to material specifications and industry standards.
- Inspect static and rotary equipment, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
- 4–10 years of QA/QC experience in mechanical works, piping, and fabrication within oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Proficiency in NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT) and hydrostatic testing.
- Strong knowledge of piping materials, welding procedures, and fabrication standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
