About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for building services projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) to create accurate drawings, schedules, and documentation.
- Perform design checks, reviews, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to resolve conflicts and optimize performance.
- Ensure compliance with ASHRAE standards, local codes, and regulatory requirements throughout the design process.
- Integrate health and safety considerations into all design activities, maintaining adherence to company policies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design for building services, preferably within a large engineering firm.
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with HVAC systems.
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
