Job Summary The primary purpose of this role is to design, develop, implement, and support custom enterprise security applications that protect Lowe’s identity and credential management ecosystem. The Password Management team develops and maintains the enterprise platform responsible for managing the lifecycle of service account credentials, password rotation, and identity verification services used across Lowe’s. As the platform continues to expand into new enterprise use cases, this role will help design new capabilities, modernize existing applications, integrate with enterprise systems, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that improve automation, user experience, and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering background and is comfortable developing both frontend and backend applications. Experience with Java and React is preferred, along with REST API development, relational databases, and secure coding practices. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical business partners, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and collaborate across multiple teams to deliver enterprise software that strengthens Lowe’s security posture while supporting thousands of associates.
