About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and execution of underground mine plans, including shaft, drift, and stoping layouts.
- Support geotechnical investigations, rock mass classification, and stability analysis.
- Participate in drilling, blasting, and mucking operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Prepare and update mine drawings and documentation using AutoCAD/Surpac.
- Collaborate with senior engineers on production scheduling, resource estimation, and cost control.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and safety audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining, Geology, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in CAD software.
- Knowledge of mine safety regulations and environmental best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to the mine site and work in a dynamic underground setting.
