Systems Engineer
Mid‑level IT Operations Engineer responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring high availability of services using AWS, Linux, Python, and IaC tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS environments supporting critical healthcare applications.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and patch management using Ansible, Terraform, and Python scripts.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive alerts to meet SLA targets.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and enforce best‑practice hardening.
- Document architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience managing Linux servers in cloud (AWS) environments.
- Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and configuration management with Ansible.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus) and incident response processes.
