Software Engineer
Senior Engineer focused on aerostructure design and finite element analysis for UAV platforms, leveraging CFD, CAD, MATLAB, ANSYS and Python to optimize performance and manufacturability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis and validation of aerostructural components for UAVs using FEA and CFD tools.
- Develop and maintain CAD models, simulation workflows and data management processes.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate structural solutions into overall UAV architecture.
- Perform parametric studies, sensitivity analyses and design optimization to meet weight, strength and cost targets.
- Document findings, prepare technical reports and present results to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in aerostructure design and FEA for aerospace or UAV applications.
- Proficiency in ANSYS, Abaqus or equivalent FEA software and CFD tools.
- Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) and experience with MATLAB/Python scripting.
- Solid understanding of material properties, structural mechanics and manufacturing constraints.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
