About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for instrumentation systems on assigned refinery units, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
- Assist in the design, installation, and commissioning of control loops, PLCs, SCADA, and DCS components.
- Participate in troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions for instrumentation failures.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and project teams during turnarounds and capital projects.
- Document instrumentation specifications, as‑built drawings, and maintenance procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of process control theory and instrumentation principles.
- Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA, and DCS systems.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a refinery environment and travel to various units as needed.
