Software Engineer
Entry‑level engineer providing end‑user technology support, managing Windows workstations, Office 365 services, and Active Directory, while automating tasks with PowerShell.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first‑line support for Windows 10 desktops, laptops, and peripherals to end users.
- Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve service efficiency.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and knowledge‑base articles in the ITSM tool.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement security patches and system upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and Office 365 administration.
- Basic scripting experience with PowerShell or similar automation tools.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills for interacting with end users.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and ticketing systems.
