About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct system performance studies using PSS/E, PSCAD, ASPEN OneLiner, and Alstom technologies to evaluate transient and voltage stability.
- Analyze electromagnetic coupling, insulation coordination, and geomagnetically induced currents for project support.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on power quality and system performance findings.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate study results into capital project planning.
- Maintain and update simulation models, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- Familiarity with PSS/E, PSCAD, ASPEN OneLiner, and Alstom software.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex system data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical reporting.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
