Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and deployment of advanced analytics models that inform trading strategies and optimise P&L outcomes.
• Integrate generative AI techniques and machine‑learning pipelines into existing data workflows to enhance decision‑making speed and accuracy.
• Collaborate with commercial, trading and engineering stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Oversee data architecture, ensuring high‑quality, secure, and cloud‑based data pipelines (e.g., AWS, Azure) support analytics initiatives.
• Mentor a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science roles within energy, finance or related sectors.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and modern machine‑learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI models and their application to business problems.
• Strong background in data modeling, data visualization (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with data‑driven insights.
