Software Engineer
Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance API endpoints and microservices using Python, Java, and cloud technologies, ensuring reliability, scalability, and seamless integration across platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimise RESTful API endpoints and micro‑service architectures to support internal and external applications.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and data teams to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring to ensure high availability and rapid delivery.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot services on AWS and Kubernetes environments.
- Continuously improve code quality, performance, and security through code reviews and best‑practice guidelines.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience developing APIs or micro‑services using Python and/or Java.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in designing scalable, secure, and well‑documented RESTful services.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
