Lead the design, integration, and validation of end‑to‑end satellite systems for the OneSat program, coordinating cross‑functional teams and ensuring performance, reliability, and schedule compliance using C++, Python, and RF expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the overall system architecture for the OneSat satellite, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and constraints.
- Lead cross‑functional teams (hardware, software, RF, and ground segment) through concept, design, integration, and verification phases.
- Develop and maintain system requirements, interface control documents, and verification plans.
- Perform trade studies and risk analyses, recommending mitigation strategies to meet performance and schedule targets.
- Oversee system-level testing, data analysis, and issue resolution to guarantee launch readiness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 7+ years of experience in satellite system engineering.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for simulation, modeling, and automation of system tests.
- Strong knowledge of RF design, signal chain analysis, and satellite communications protocols.
- Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex technical projects.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
