Software Engineer
Lead the EMEA data centre facilities management function, overseeing operations, maintenance, health & safety, vendor relationships and budget performance across multiple sites.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct day‑to‑day operations of EMEA data centre facilities, ensuring optimal performance, reliability and compliance.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance and incident response plans to minimize downtime.
- Manage third‑party vendors and service contracts, monitoring SLAs and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead health, safety and environmental programs, guaranteeing adherence to local regulations and corporate standards.
- Prepare and control budgets, track expenditures, and deliver cost‑saving initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT, security and real‑estate teams to align facility strategies with business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing data centre or large‑scale critical facilities, preferably in a multi‑region environment.
- Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, HVAC, power distribution and fire suppression systems.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver on schedule.
- Demonstrated expertise in health & safety compliance, risk assessment and vendor management.
- Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control and reporting.
