About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for embedded firmware and hardware components used in climate control products.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks in Python and C/C++.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing on RTOS‑based systems, including hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) setups.
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect‑tracking tools, and work closely with firmware and hardware engineers to drive root‑cause analysis and resolution.
- Validate compliance with industry standards and safety regulations for HVACR equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of QA experience with embedded systems, preferably in HVAC, automotive, or industrial control domains.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for test development and scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with RTOS environments, hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers), and HIL test benches.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
