About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, code, and validate firmware for Powervamp’s GSE product line using Embedded C and RTOS environments.
- Collaborate with hardware designers to integrate software with power electronics and sensor interfaces.
- Conduct rigorous unit, integration, and system testing, including safety‑critical validation and performance benchmarking.
- Document design decisions, test procedures, and release notes to support production deployment and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in cross‑functional reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of embedded software processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in embedded C development for safety‑critical or industrial applications.
- Strong knowledge of RTOS concepts, interrupt handling, and real‑time scheduling.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, logic analyzers) and serial communication protocols.
- Familiarity with aviation or ground support equipment safety standards (e.g., DO‑178C, IEC 61508).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
