About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of embedded engineers, fostering technical growth and high‑quality delivery.
- Architect, design, and implement firmware for real‑time operating systems on rugged hardware platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and systems teams to integrate software with novel protection technologies.
- Drive Agile processes, sprint planning, and continuous integration to ensure timely product releases.
- Act as a technical subject‑matter expert, providing solution concepts, code reviews, and troubleshooting for complex embedded challenges.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on embedded firmware development using C/C++ and RTOS environments.
- Proven experience leading technical teams in an Agile setting.
- Strong knowledge of Linux‑based embedded platforms and hardware‑software integration.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver robust, safety‑critical products for rugged or industrial markets.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of mentoring engineers.
