About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain embedded monitoring solutions for mining equipment to detect and resolve reliability issues proactively.
- Analyze operational data using statistical and machine‑learning techniques to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with reliability, maintenance, and branch operations teams to develop and execute diagnostic protocols and performance benchmarks.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reporting tools that provide real‑time visibility into equipment health and uptime.
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem documentation to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems or site reliability engineering within an industrial or mining context.
- Strong programming skills in Python or C/C++ for data collection, analysis, and automation.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (SQL, Pandas, NumPy) and visualization platforms (Grafana, Power BI).
- Experience with reliability engineering concepts such as MTBF, FMEA, and root‑cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, and customer teams.
