About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with legal stakeholders to translate manual, high‑touch processes into automated, repeatable software solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services (Python/Java) and REST APIs that integrate legal data sources with internal platforms.
- Implement data pipelines and storage solutions on AWS to ensure secure, compliant handling of sensitive legal information.
- Create dashboards, reports, and tooling that surface actionable insights for legal operations.
- Write comprehensive tests, documentation, and monitoring to guarantee reliability and auditability of legal tech components.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience, preferably with Python and Java.
- Proficiency building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with relational databases (SQL).
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and RDS.
- Demonstrated ability to automate complex workflows and deliver production‑grade code.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical legal stakeholders.
